133 / Mini potato bake for dinner. It was far too creamy and didn't have enough cheese for my liking. I love cheese.
134 / One of the things I love (and miss) the most is freshly baked Vietnamese baguettes (bánh mì). I've always imagined that one day I'll come come with a brown paper bag of groceries with a giant baguette sticking out of it like in the movies and cartoons I've watched when I was little (of course with red beret and the Eiffel tower outside my window - very French). So when I came home and saw these on the table I had my brothers model their moustaches and baguettes. That's a Luigi's hat there. Then I realised that Luigi was actually Italian and not French. / To A and A, sorry for ditching you with my green tea frappé. And if you want to waste two minutes of your time, I made this on the way home.
135 / I've been eyeing this for a while and thought it would be wonderful for my crafting adventures. Bought the last copy at the newsagent on my way to the train station. As a side note, I think I've grown up quite a bit in the past three years of posting on this blog almost on a weekly basis. I felt embarrassed while reading what Julie (three years younger) was thinking. Maybe I'll come back to this in three years and cringe "What was I thinking!? Photo 134 is so lame!"
136 / My brother decided to make dark chocolate chip cookies that I couldn't eat.
137 / Getting off the train at Town Hall an an unearthly 9 am, I decided to go to Dymocks Stationery one of my favourite stores yet we somehow ended up in Myer for over two hours and we never ending up going to ogle stationery. I treated myself to a nice pair of boots (it was pay day, so why not?) on an early morning shopping trip with the best friend. They claim to be leather good thing I'm not planning to eat them, I suspect they would be chewy, they make satisfying clacking noises when I walk and they are of moderate heel to powerwalk so fast you won't be able to catch up (apparently a Julie thing). I don't know if I made the right choice to get the size 36 (which I believe translates to an AU 5), because I'm normally 6... They are a bit tight, but the 37 was too loose. I'm thinking too much, I guess its because it's the first time I've spent so much on myself - wait I lie, my camera. I hope it stretches a bit. :( x
138 / I've been waiting for a year for these tickets and another six months before I get to see it live.
I'M SO EXCITED (caps intended and clearly unable to contain my excitement.).
I was talking to lovely B late last night where she coined up the word listeture (a combination of listen and lecture) in which I defined as "Listening to a lecture, but not really paying attention".

139 / Mummy's special crab for lunch.
"Mummy, don't move," said the photographer. Dad rolled his eyes, "Seriously?" Mum looked impatient, "Can I put this down? It's heavy." Ten photos later, the photographer gives the all clear to put the plate on the table. "Next time," said my mother, "Take the photo after I put it down and you can take as long as you want."

I've decided that I need to write things down, for memory's sake and so I can further embarrass myself the next time I come to read this. Enjoy the remainder of your weekend and have a great week!
